Joy has been stabbed to death by yet to be known persons at Idowu Taylor Street in Victoria Island, Lagos. It was reported that the incident happened on Sunday, January 18; her body was discovered dead in a pool of blood from the stabbing on Monday, January 19 at about 3.30am.
She was stabbed to death at a car park on Idowu Taylor Street used by staffs of organisations on the street. Her corpse was later taken away by policemen from the Victoria Island Police Division.
A resident in the area, reportedly said that he suspects that Joy might have been killed by people trying to rob her. It was also revealed that Joy was much liked by people on the street who have often times in the past tried to help her so she could leave the job.
Joy who is reported to be from Delta State has two children, a girl and a boy. She had sent her daughter to stay with a relative in Port Harcourt and was with her three-year-son on Sunday night when she was believed to have been stabbed to death.
So sad....the hazard of the Job!!!!! RIP
