PARENTS DONATE KIDNEY EACH TO SAVE THEIR CHILDREN

A couple in China are donating a kidney each to save their children.
The son and daughter of Duan Shuhua and Li Qingzhong – 17-year-old Li Kai and 26-year-old Li Min – were diagnosed with uremia in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
Uremia is a deadly condition which means kidneys are unable to rid the body of waste producrrs.
Li Kai has been undergoing dialysis at home since August 2012 – treatment that costs more than £600 a month – and his farmer parents have been struggling to make ends meet.
And in the same year daughter Li Min, who had only married two months previously, was diagnosed with the same complaint and doctors told her that both of her kidneys had failed.
But medics gave the parents from China's Hebei Province the green light to save their children after tests confirmed they were a suitable match.
Medic Ming Wei from the General Hospital of the Armed Police said: "It was fortunate indeed that the father's kidney was a suitable match for the daughter, and the mother's kidney a suitable match for the son."The operation on the boy was successfully carried out last week and once he has settled down the father will have the operation to transplant a kidney to his daughter."
This is so touching....you see why we all have to honor our parents because only them can give their all to us, do anything for us to make sure we are okay.
