Hey there, how are we doing...been quite busy today....but it is good to be back.
Well, what happened over the weekend......
Sad news from the north of Nigeria...bomb blast.
In yobe, a female suicide bomber who disguised as a passenger in a bus detonated a bomb in a park killing herself and 8 others.

And the 11 women who are believed to be the supporters of Nigerian first lady were involved in a auto accident that claimed their lives leaving a lone survivor.
The victims were all in the same bus that was involved in the accident. They were Bayelsa branch leaders of an organization, Women For Change, that is sponsored by Mrs. Jonathan.
The accident occurred at Ahoada axis of East-West road in Rivers State.

So sad!!! May their soul rest in peace.
Then in sports .....Our home boy Brown Ideye is back and better....he scored a brace against Westham in the FA cup competition.Brown Ideye has praised his ‘mentor’ Kanu for helping him through a difficult start to his West Bromwich Albion career, and now wants to replicate his fellow Nigerian’s Wembley record.

Ideye produced his best display since moving to The Hawthorns last summer by grabbing a brace and setting up Saido Berahino in the 4-0 demolition of West Ham.

The club-record £10million signing said: ‘In Nigeria, Kanu is one of the big players who everybody looks up to, so I am happy that we talk. He calls me sometimes and I get advice from him because he played here, too. He tells me to keep working hard and things will turn out to be good for me. That’s what happened on Saturday.’

Yakubu Aiyegbeni also showed that he may be advancing in years but he still has the Midas touch and can still score goals.

In politics.....Ex president Olusegun obasanjo continue to slam GEJ .He came hard again on President Jonathan and his style of governance, claiming that President Jonathan is afraid that if Gen Buhari wins the election, he might jail him when he leaves office. Obasanjo said this while speaking to newsmen at his home in Abeokuta shortly after his return from his trip to Kenya and UK.

Obasanjo said President Jonathan was doing everything possible to win the elections, either by hook or by crook. He said president Jonathan is playing the cards of former Cote d’Ivoire President, Laurent Gbagbo who continued shifting elections in his country in a bid to ensure that he won the election, a situation that plunged Cote d'Ivoire into political crisis. He said President Jonathan was reigning and not ruling after he said in his last media chat he was not aware of the military's advise that the election be postponed. It was also gathered that he dumped PDP and tore his membership card!!!! This is serious oh.
He announced his disengagement at his Hilltop Mansion in Abeokuta while hosting PDP leaders from is Ward11, in Abeokuta North local government. The party led by the leader in the ward Sunmonu Oladunjoye had gone to see him to clear rumors hat the former president has been expelled from the party following his recent comment in he media.
Obasanjo said Nigeria belongs to all and must not be allowed to collapse.
