Boko Haram ‘slaughter wives to prevent them from marrying soldiers or non belivers!!!

It was gathered that many women that were reportedly forced into marrying members of the terrorist sect Boko Haram, were reportedly slaughtered by their husbands before a battle with troops in the northeast town of Bama.  It was gathered that Witnesses who recounted the massacres said the Islamist militants feared they would be killed by advancing soldiers or separated from their wives when they fled the town. They killed the women to prevent them from subsequently marrying soldiers or other so-called non-believers, they added.  The terrorists were reported to have said they will not allow their wives to be married to infidels.
 Nigeria’s military along with forces from neighbouring Cameroon, Chad and Niger have claimed huge victories over the insurgents in recent weeks but defenceless civilians still face serious threats. 
Allegedly, Boko Haram fighters received word of a military assault on Bama, formerly an Islamist stronghold in Borno state. The insurgents had decided to flee to the nearby town of Gwoza before the troops’ arrival but first decided to kill their wives so that nobody will remarry them. This is done so that nobody will remarry them and it was believed that they would remain pious until both of them meet again in heaven, where they would re-unite.
Hmnn, first they forcefully marry women against their wish and when leaving or fleeing the town, instead of leaving them behind...they go ahead to kill them! This is just so cruel!!! Lord save our land!!!

Stephen Keshi's fate will be known in 4 days time ..... NFF

     The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) expects to be able to confirm whether Stephen Keshi will stay as the country’s head coach or not in four days’ time, according to its president Amaju Pinnick.

Contract renewal talks between the football federation and the 53-year-old tactician has been deadlocked since the end of last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
However, Pinnick insists the long-standing negotiations is drawing to its conclusion but has not been able to ascertain whether Keshi will accept the new NFF offer.
Just so tired of the state of our football...the back and forth discussion on the coach of the super eagles is tiring! Keshi should take the contract or reject it and NFF had better get a replacement in line in case Keshi rejects it and not wait for how so long to get a replacement!!!!! Federal Government reduces electricity tariff by over 50%

  The Federal Government of Nigeria  has announced the reduction in electricity tariff by half. Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Sam Amadi, who made the announcement in Abuja today March 17th, said after a review of the tariffs being paid by Nigerians, the commission agreed to slash it by half. The reduction takes effect from the end of March. He said the commission agreed to remove the Multi-year tariff order, MYTO 2.1 following multiple petitions and complains from Nigerians especially members of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria who said inclusion of the MYTO 2.1 caused them to spend more on their businesses and in some cases loss of jobs.
“The Commission also invited the Chief executive Officers of the distribution companies to the hearing to respond to the case of the consumer groups. Furthermore, the Commission reviewed the technical and financial assumption of MYTO 2.1. The review shows that the major underlying cause of the skyrocketing increase in the tariff is the huge Aggregate Technical, Commercial and Collection (ATC&C) losses, which are passed through to consumers. In some DISCOs ATC&C losses increased tariff by as much as 80-103%. “
This is such good news....is it because of elections....well we need this kind of changes that would affect the masses lives positively. Way to go.......government do more!!!!

Hmm, lori bloggers...there is an issue that was a discussion at my office today and as you all know...I tend to discuss day to day activities or issues of life, where we all  can learn or benefit ,
share our thought.
Now boiling on the minds of some person.... the advent or discovery or the age of technology...has it increased sin ( immorality, dishonesty ) or not, Has it been all good...increase social growth, economical development etc.

Remember...we are not discussing religion ...we are discussing the effects of technology!!!

Boko Haram have legitimate grievances .....Obasanjo

      
Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has again advocated dialogue with the insurgent group, Boko Haram, saying the group has legitimate grievances despite its brutal five-year campaign that has killed more than 15,000 people, with hundreds of thousands displaced.
The former president said Nigeria should not rule out talking to the terrorist group which recently pledged allegiance to Islamic State (ISIS) – but he said that should only happen after a sustained military campaign. Boko Haram’s run of violence against innocent people in schools, places of worship, markets and homes, only slowed relatively in the last few weeks in the face of increased military onslaught from Nigeria and neighbouring Chad, Niger and Cameroun.
The military has retaken 15 of 16 major towns seized by the group, the latest being Bama in Borno State, recaptured on Monday.In response, Boko Haram has launched more suicide bomb attacks killing scores of civilians.
In an interview with the International Business Times in Dubai, Mr. Obasanjo advised that in dealing with the terror organization, the Nigerian government should not rule out dialogue if the group is willing to talk. He said that should happen only after sustained military operations against the militants.Mr. Obasanjo, who spoke at the side-lines of the Global Education Forum conference, said with only 19 per cent of the population in Boko Haram’s stronghold of North-East Nigeria receiving education, [compared to 79 per cent in the South-West and 77 per cent in the South-East], there was no question that the area should feel marginalised.
“We don’t need anyone to tell us that that is a problem; a problem of disparity, a problem of marginalization, a problem because education is fundamental to your employability and to your living conditions. If you are not educated you are handicapped,” Mr. Obasanjo said.
Mr. Obasanjo again criticised President Goodluck Jonathan’s response to the group, saying the incumbent failed to act quick enough in taking the fight to Boko Haram.

Hello Lori bloggers....its been really hectic for me.....sorry for the break in transmission...it was due to overload of work!!!!
Well lets do a little catch up quickly.......
From Chelsea fc out of the Champions league....and a draw at Stamford bridge in the EPL with Southampton and Manchester city losing to relegation bound Burnley fc.
Well, all is not lost for Chelsea...as the premier league title is still in sight.
In Nigeria...After days of intense fighting, Nigerian troops Monday afternoon finally flushed out Boko Haram militants from Bama in Borno State, defence authorities have said.

Bama, the second largest Local Government Area in Borno, fell to Boko Haram on September 11, 2014.
Some residents, mostly women and children who tried to flee the area at the time were reported to have died of thirst and hunger as insurgents tightened their grip on the town.
Some men of the town were beheaded, residents say.
Bama was one of two most important towns held by Boko Haram for months.
The other, Gwoza, is now the only town under the control of Boko Haram, a violent jihadist group that has slaughtered more than 15,000 people since 2009.
Boko Haram uses Gwoza as its headquarter.
Good news you say...our fight against the terrorist is still on and may the lord help us, heal our lands and bring back our girls!
