WORLD CUP UPDATES: Situation Report!!!

The World cup games are becoming more exciting and unpredictable. This week games have left various teams and their country people, sad...wishing for what could have been...failing to qualify, some happy....doing the expected, qualifying and other ecstatic....qualifying to the next round when all hope was almost lost.
The Super Eagles of NIGERIA dashed the hopes of 180 million Nigerians who wanted to see their team move to the next round when they lost to the Albiceleste of ARGENTINA in what was dubbed as the world cup final of the finals....it was a fiercely fought match that literally saw blood being spilled( Mascherano's face). The Nigerian team lost to Argentina who won by 2:1. Goals by Lionel Messi, Victor moses and the winner goal by Marcos Rojo.
The Ice men of ICELAND were beaten by the inspiring CROATIA team 2:1.
The major upset of the week was the defending champions of the Fifa world cup. GERMANY were humiliated when they were beaten by 2 late goals from Kim and Son of South Korea. This is the first time since 1938 the Germans will be ousted from the first round stage of the World cup.

BRAZIL went on to win the game against SERBIA 2:0 with goals from Paulinho and Silva while SWITZERLAND AND COSTA RICA drew with a 2:2 score line.
Today, the hope of Africa lies with the only African team still in the World cup with the hope of qualifying to the next stage..SENEGAL. The Senegalese led by Sadio Mane will be meeting COLOMBIA with the likes of Radamez Falcao and James Rodriguez. 
PANAMA will be playing against TUNISIA ; both are already out of the race for the glamorous World cup.
Then the main event of the day ; the game between the Star studded English team and the Belgians.
ENGLAND VERSUS BELGIUM.

UPDATES ON RUSSIA 2018 FIFA WORLD CUP!!!!

The past week saw a lot of games being played at the FIFA World Cup in Russia. There were some exciting teams that performed beyond the expectations after their first game some were beaten black and blue while some solidified their qualification to the next round.
First on the roll is the Super Eagles of NIGERIA ; who played against  ICELAND in the pursuit of qualification after their disastrous result against CROATIA. The Eagles won with 2:0 with Ahmed Musa scoring the two beautiful goals.   This leaves the group open as NIGERIA must win their next game against ARGENTINA to qualify for the next stage or pull a draw with the hopes that CROATIA and ICELAND also draws.
BELGIUM ran riot against TUNISIA with a 5:2  goal line with two goals from Romelu Lukaku

ENGLAND also punished PANAMA with 6:1 score line and Harry Kane scoring an Hat trick, a brace from John stones and a fantastic goal from Jesse Linguard. Harry kane is presently the highest goal scorer.
GERMANY almost lost their game against SWEDEN through a costly mistake by Toni Kroos who later saved the day by scoring to give the Germans a much needed win to keep their hope of qualification alive. The game ended 2:1  
SENEGAL and JAPAN played a  2:2 draw in a hard fought game  while POLAND was beaten by COLUMBIA. Lewandoski's Poland are out of the race for second round as Falcao's Columbia came to the game prepared to win . The score line ended 3:0
